- Provide a few details about your event or meeting (location, time, with whom)
- Select when and how you would like to be contacted (call or text message)
- Determine who should be contacted if you don’t respond (your friends and family)
OkVerify will contact you at the time and in the manner that you choose. If you do not respond, OkVerify will contact your Lifeline(s) (friends and family) so that they can follow up with you. If your Lifeline(s) can not be reached, you may choose for OkVerify to contact your local police to help you.

See a visual tour of how Rebecca uses OkVerify below:

Rebecca has a meeting on her calendar that she’s really looking forward to. Since she doesn’t know the other party well, as a precaution, she creates an event on OkVerify for her upcoming meeting.

OkVerify calls Rebecca during her meeting, at the time that she has requested, to make sure that she is safe.

Rebecca picks up the call, and confirms that everything is going great!

If Rebecca doesn’t respond to OkVerify’s attempts to contact her, OkVerify calls Rebeccas’s first Lifeline.

Using details given to her by OkVerify, Rebecca’s friend contacts her to confirm that Rebecca is safe.

If her first Lifeline is unavailable, OkVerify calls Rebecca’s next lifeline.

Using details given to him by OkVerify, Rebecca’s brother contacts her to confirm that Rebecca is safe.

If neither Rebecca, nor her lifelines can be reached, OkVerify will call 9-1-1, so that Rebecca can receive further assistance.
